Design Brief
The McDonald's Menu Song Remix is one of the flagship campaigns of 2024, spotlighting four new fan-inspired menu items. This campaign revives the iconic Menu Song from the 1980s, reimagined with a modern twist through a collaboration with hip-hop star Lil Yachty.

The microsite design serves as the central hub for the campaign, seamlessly integrating all elements while maintaining the Remix Menu visual identity. Users can access the microsite by scanning a QR code on the packaging or via links from social media platforms. The site showcases the Menu Song remix by Lil Yachty, campaign videos, social media integrations, details on all Remix Menu menu items, and even features an interactive remix karaoke experience.

Homepage Design

The homepage user experience is meticulously crafted to engage visitors from the moment they arrive on the microsite. Users are welcomed with a concise introduction to the campaign, followed by three campaign videos, with the music video prominently featured in the center. For those curious about the Menu Song remix, a music player and animated lyrics are displayed at the bottom of the page, allowing users to listen to the track while exploring the site.

After immersing themselves in the song, users can engage in a personalized and entertaining experience with the remix karaoke feature, where they can sing along with Lil Yachty. As users scroll down, they are presented with a summary of the campaign’s social media content, culminating in an introduction to the four new menu items. The page concludes with a clear call-to-action button, directing users to order from the app.

Remix Karaoke

The remix karaoke experience is an innovative digital feature that enables users to record their own rendition of the Menu Song remix and generate a personalized karaoke video.
